This bass clarinet case is slightly lighter than the BAM Hightech case (for low C) at 9lbs 2oz and is very durable and compact. On the inside, high density polyurethane foam is utilized as a protective cushion. The exterior is made up of a durable Cordura fabric (1000 denier) that is both tough and water resistant.
There are 2 rubber encased carrying handles and hidden backpack straps that can be quickly set up (there are hidden backpack strap buckles near the bottom). For those extra-rainy days, a built-in rain cover can be deployed for extra water protection. Stashing sheet music can be done with the large front pocket, while smaller accessories can be stored in the zippered size pouch.
